Yesterday the Star Wars Homing Beacon #73 was mailed out. My MSN was down, so I couldn't check it, but it'll put a basic run through now.
The main story is, of course, the Episode II DVD, it also features Episode II DVD for Mac Users, the awesome Yoda and Darth Vader credit cards, Insider #64, February 2003 comics, Episode I on TV this Thanksgiving, and Episode II in IMAX. They have the old "Ask Jedi Council" question about when "Episode IV" was added into the opening of A New Hope. Click here to register for the Star Wars Homing Beacon.
Anyway, today I'm getting Xbox Live, and on Tuesday Metroid Prime and Fusion. I'll post my information later so all you Xbox owners can reach me. I'm hoping for Jazz Master Yoda or Jedi Master Yoda, or Jazz Yoda. I don't know.

Hey guys. Sorry about not updating. My laptop suddenly broke down. My WS_FTP trial is running down, so I might go a long time without updating the site if I don't find another one soon. Not much has happened. I saw Episode II at IMAX the night it came out. They cut out about 20 minutes. Some I'm sad to see go, but some I am very happy (like the scene where Anakin has a nightmare about his mother, and came out looking like something else...). Anyway, concerning video games, I got Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 for GameCube, look for me. My name is "Master Yoda," I'm a FOnewn all dressed in black with black sunglasses. On Friday I should be getting Xbox Live, but I won't be able to get on right away because yesterday my broadband modem broke and they're sending me another one. Then on Monday I should be getting Metroid Prime (IGN - 9.8, highest rated next-gen game) and Metroid Fusion (IGN - 9.5). That's about it for now.

It's fall cleaning time! I cleared all the news up to September 2nd. Today I added the main page for the Star Wars Insider issues. Also, I fixed the pictures in checklists (just like I promised). This weekend I hope to get tickets for the November 1st release of Episode II in IMAX theaters. Wish me luck, and if I do get tickets I'll probably post something about how I liked it. I don't have much time to update today, but if I have time I will definetly update tomorrow. Oh, yeah. I am applying to a webring. It's called Star Wars Collectibles. There's already 8 sites, so if we get accepted we'd be site #9. May the Force be with us...

LucasArts Insider #26 (not to be confused with Star Wars Insider)
The latest LucasArts Insider e-mail has arrived in inboxes today. First thing is Clone Wars for GameCube (GCN) and PlayStation2 (PS2). Just some basic information and a link to the Clone Wars homepage. Also some stuff on Bounty Hunter for GCN and PS2, here's the link to the homepage. The amazing PC game Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast is heading towards GCN and Xbox, here's the link. The Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, containing Galactic Battlegrounds and Clone Campaigns, is now in stores. Some new information on Knights of the Old Republic, headed for Xbox next year. There is some news on Indiana Jones and RTX Red Rock, but since this is a Star Wars site I won't cover it here. Lastly, information on pre-ordering Clone Wars, Bounty Hunter, and Jedi Outcast, a link to order a Bounty Hunter hat, and a few new screenshots wraps up issue 26.
I hear your pleads. Those pop-ups are annoying! Everytime you go to a page on the site, the same 2 pop-ups come up. I'll see if I can do anything, but chances are I won't. Sorry. I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but we ARE accepting affiliates. If you want to become an affiliate with The Jedi Order, e-mail me at jazzyoda@fanforce.net. In other news, I received my latest Star Wars Insider, issue 63. While reading it, I got an idea for a new site section! If you look over to the left, you will see a new section called "Star Wars Insider." There I am planning on putting a sort of encyclopedia, you might say, of past Star Wars Insiders. Right now, if you click there, you will only see Insider 63. I am working on a main page to go to the different issues, as well as the actual pages for many of the past issues. Since I don't own all the issues, after I get the ones I do have up, if someone has one (or two, or three, or four, etc. etc.) that I don't have, please e-mail me with some of the information. You don't have to write up the article, just give me what it contains and I'll put up the article. That would be a great help.

What's going on? Are you readers afraid of forums? Do forums give you a strange red bump that itches? Why don't you register? Come on! Join the party! The forums are also a great place for video game fans. Anyway, I noticed that the pictures in the checklists aren't working, so I'm going to fix that. Not today though, giant World Civilizations I quiz tomorrow.

Hey! I got a new poll, if you haven't noticed. It's hosted by Sparklit. They give a lot of options for poll making, but I'm sticking to the classical style. One good thing, however, is the wide range of colors to choose from and that you can have up to 25 answers, as well as multiple answers! But you (the reader) probably don't care about such things. What you do care about (I hope) is the forums! I have new forums, hosted by IkonBoard. Just click on "The Jedi Council Forums," on the left. Register, and start a community! Anyways, that's all I had time for today, but it's a lot. Hope to check and possibly update (if there is anything to update) the checklists before Friday.
October 21, 2002, Posted by Jazz Master YodaToday I updated the Staff page (about time!) and I'm doing some routine checks around the site to make sure everything is working properly (since it's been so long since I've looked at the site). Oh, yeah, I'm trying to get a new poll (because that Poll Gear thing sucks), so I'll work on that. I still haven't gotten a reply about the new forums... Oh, by the way, today I went to Toys R Us looking for the Republic Gunship and the Arena playset. I didn't find either, but I did check out the The Empire Strikes Back X-Wing with R2-D2. It looks great! Unfortunately, I didn't have the money to pay the hefty $40 price tag.
October 20, 2002, Posted by Jazz Master YodaHello, all! ?Como estas? Don't worry, I'm still alive. The CuteFTP (which was the program I was using to update my website) trial ended, and they would not let me get another trial version, so I spent many months trying to find a good FTP transfer program whatever. Anyways, by the time I found the one I am using now, Ionichost (which is hosting me) stopped hosting me (I think. Or something like that). I sent them an e-mail and I think they did something, because before I couldn't connect, and now I can with no problem. Anyways, I will start updating the site more often (I hope) now that I have gotten back into the swing (i.e. not falling asleep while doing homework, even though that still happens every once in a while.) Right now I am trying to get a good forum because NR (which I signed up for a forum before) closed up shop (note I also took off the link). Oh, one last thing. For all you video game fans, especially those who like The Legend of Zelda series, check out ZeldaXtreme, and sign up on their forums! My name is Jedi Master Yoda.

I deleted the Star Wars News section because obviously I will not have any time at all to update it. Don't worry, this site isn't the only site that's getting the short end of the stick. I haven't done anything with Next Gen either. I am doing stuff with the Episode 2 DVD Release feature, and am completing it a little at a time, and will eventually put up the new feature!

I will not be able to update as often as before because of school. But whenever possible, I will update.
